Just a reminder of how to pay for your student's meal debt. If you have not done so already, please go to our school website to fill out the EZ MEAL application to see if your household meets the requirements for reduced or free meals. What an awesome first few weeks of school! I have been so impressed with the work that both our students and staff have put in to make the beginning of this school year amazing! Today we got to celebrate Grandparents Day with a school full of grandparents and supportive community members! It was so inspiring to see our community and our students' amazing grandparents come out in such an awesome way. I would like to say thank you to all the staff for ensuring that Grandparent’s Day went off without a hitch and a special thank you to Mrs. Malorie Adcock for the hard work she put into scheduling and decorating the school for this big day! I would also like to thank all the grandparents who took time out of their day to come and join us today! I hope it was as special for you and your grandchildren as it was for us!
Our students have begun this year in their educational journey and I am so proud of the diligent work they have put in already! I have seen science experiments, math escape rooms, and reading all across the building! I cannot wait to see what else 2024-2025 has in store at Manila Elementary! Also, best of luck tonight to our Manila Lions Football team in their home opener!! Go Lions!!
