MES Spelling Bee will be Friday, December 13th at 9 a.m. in our Elementary Cafeteria. The top 10 spellers from each grade level (3rd-6th) will compete to represent our school in the next level of competition. MES is going to the movies!!! On December 13th, Kindergarten through 6th Grade students will travel to the Melody Theater in Leachville to watch "Arthur Christmas". The cost of admission is $3.50 per student which includes popcorn and a drink!! Permission slips are going home in folders today!! As we approach the Thanksgiving season, I want to extend my warmest wishes to you and your families. This time of year reminds us to reflect on our gratitude and the community we share. I am so excited to celebrate our Thanksgiving Feast with all of you next week and look forward to seeing you all there!
While we look forward to the Thanksgiving holiday, we encourage our students to continue their academic push until we break for Thanksgiving. Let’s keep the momentum going and finish strong before a well deserved break to celebrate with friends and family!
